As a life long animal lover, Sophia has always been fascinated by animal behavior. While her career with animals began in the equine industry as a horse trainer, her love for rescue dogs brought her to the world of professional dog training. 

Living with many timid rescue dogs throughout her life, Sophia often struggled to find the right kind of training support for her pups. The more she researched, learned, and worked with her own dogs, Sophia was amazed at the potential and transformation she saw in her pups.

With the right patience, compassion, and individualized training approach, dogs that were shut down, reactive, and fearful, were able to blossom and truly thrive. She realized she needed to share the power of good positive reinforcement training with others, to give sensitive dogs a chance to grow to their true potential and live their best lives.

As Sophia pursued her certifications and career in dog training, she continued to have a special connection with dogs that were fearful, timid, and reactive. She has a knack for building trust with these sensitive pups, and helping them gain the confidence and coping skills they need in order to thrive.
